Explain what you are hosting

Tell your provider which website platform or application you plan to use, whether it handles uploads and whether it relies on a database. Describe your expected audience and any busy periods. Requirements vary, so ask the provider to confirm compatibility with your actual application instead of choosing a plan from storage figures alone.

Understand the support boundary

Ask which responsibilities belong to the hosting provider and which belong to your development team. Server availability, application updates and content changes can be separate services. Confirm how to contact support, what information to include in a request and who in your business can authorise changes. Keep these details available before a problem occurs.

Clarify backups and account ownership

Ask what the backup service includes, how long copies are retained and how restoration works. Find out whether email, databases and uploaded files are covered. Make sure account ownership and recovery contact details are correct. If another party manages hosting for you, agree how access and data will be transferred if the arrangement changes.

Discuss the next stage

Ask how the service can change as your site grows and what an upgrade or migration would involve. Confirm any relevant limits and how your team will know when they are approaching them. Host Liberty can help connect website delivery with HostViber hosting; confirm the final plan and responsibilities against your project requirements before launch.
